Chapter 17.5. SIGNS AND ADVERTISING DEVICES

§ 17.5-15. Enforcement and remedies.

(a)

Any person violating any provisions of this chapter or any employee, assistant, agent or any other person participating or taking part, joining or aiding in a violation of any provision of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived may be prosecuted as provided by law for the violation of ordinances of the City of Black Jack and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for any one offense. Each day a violation continues after service of written notice to state such violation shall constitute a separate offense.

(b)

In addition to the penalties hereinabove authorized and established, the city attorney shall take such other actions at law or in equity as may be required to halt, terminate, remove, or otherwise eliminate any violations of this chapter.
