§ 12-3. Applicability of state law and court rules.

The proceedings in the municipal court shall be governed by this chapter, the Missouri Rules of Practice and Procedure in Municipal Courts (Rule 37.01—37.1174) as promulgated by the Supreme Court of Missouri, Sections 479.010 to 479.270 of the Missouri Revised Statutes, the rules promulgated by the presiding judge of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County under the authority granted said presiding judge in Subsection 5 of Section 479.020 of the Missouri Revised Statutes and the rules promulgated by the municipal judge of the city. The rules promulgated by the presiding judge shall control where there is a conflict between the rules and any provision of this chapter or any other ordinance of the city relating to the municipal court and its procedures.
